How it is paid
Equity, not a retainer.
A few hours a week inside your team, paid in advisory shares rather than a monthly retainer: usually 0.5% to 5%, case by case, with vesting agreed per company. If you also need capital, an angel cheque of up to $25K can come with it. Every engagement starts with a two-week working trial, before any paper.

When does a pre-seed company need a COO?
When the founder spends more time on hiring, tools and admin than on customers and product. A fractional COO takes that load for a few hours a week, long before a full-time hire makes sense.
Can you set up AI automation for our operations?
Yes. I map the repetitive work, automate what is safe to automate, and keep a person on what is not. I did this for marketing, operations and HR at Secure Digital Markets.
Do you help hire?
Yes: the hiring plan, scorecards, interviews for key roles, and onboarding. I also help you hire the full-time COO when the company is ready.
