# Joaquim Miro

Fintech and AI operator, founder, early investor. Eastern Townships, Québec.

I am an operator in fintech and AI. I co-founded TrustSwap, an escrow and capital-formation platform, as well as Alpaca Network and Gatewayz.ai, and I am a managing partner at GDA Capital, where I have backed 70+ companies. I have worked as CEO, COO, CMO and Chief of Staff. As co-founder and COO of MLG Blockchain, a digital-finance consultancy, I helped take the team from 4 people to 120 in nine months. We raised no outside money to do it.

I mentor at Techstars, Founder Institute, Outlier Ventures and FounderFuel, and I am an LP and advisor at Holt Xchange. I live in the Eastern Townships, where I also run Regenerate Capital, my venture studio.
